    [Error Code] SC687 MP4000

The HDD, Controller and BICU have all been replaced, all firmware up to date but this error still appears intermittently after a reset message on the display. Managed to move the fault to another device by swapping the HV board but the error has since appeared back on the original device after replacing the HV with a new one.... any clue would be appreciated.. Cheers

Cheers Barratec, I think I have a NVRAM back at the ranch, I will give it a go. Might also try a backup and NVRAM clear to see if that changes anything... Will keep you posted.

Try the ADF cable. I may be wrong, but I recall the Aficio 1035 doing similar (Must have the good brain cell in today!). I think you can sometimes reproduce the problem by lifting / lowering the ADF lid.
