Prevent Paper size/orientation change on Ricoh 8200dn

Curious if anyone knows if I can lock out the on-printer menu from allowing paper size/orientation changes? We have users that THINK they're doing the right thing by going in and changing the paper size to A3, rather than doing a form feed, but it just ends up freaking out the printer and it jams (because the papersize is wrong).

Does anyone know if this is possible? I cannot figure out what the "Protect Printer Display Panel" setting even does.

    Thanks!

And yes, I realize obviously someone can still get into the trays and mess with crap, but that doesn't seem to be AS big an issue as people changing the settings in the menu. =/

Enabling machine administrator authentication in the menu and locking out the tray settings is the best way to do it.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

      Hit it.

So I have Machine Admin Auth enabled... I just don't see how to lock out the paper settings menu... I'm probably missing something.

You could also do what's suggested on Ricoh's support page:
Print button flashes red and copier displays: paper type/size mismatch. What should I do?

This is caused by an incorrect document Page Setup in the computer application. For example, you attempted to print a letter size document when the device contains only A4 size paper.
To correct this, [Set Sub Paper Size] to "auto" in the device user mode/printer features/system.

Yes, we've done this. The issue is Users are, well, users. They think they're doing something that will help them, but instead it just leads to the printer jamming. I would just like to lock out adjusting the tray settings... since we get users setting things like 8.5x13, or A3 or whatever, or more annoying, changing the orientation of the 8.5x11 from portrait to landscape. =/
