problem with ricoh mp6501

hi every one

this is the my first post for this forum i have 2 problem with this mashine mp 6501:

1- after the mashine finshed the toner and i replaced the new cartrige the gave the massege on secreen no toner (B&m&Y&C)
even after i do (forced toner supply ))

2- when i do copy the conter for coller is reding 3 copy not one copy
and when i do copy B&w the counter read 1 copy

OK, follow these SP's for black, and repeat for corresponding colours

3401 1 to 1
3410 001 to 10
3411 003 to 0
3412 007 to 0
3412 011 to 0
Reboot
3401 1 to 0

Some times you need to set the DEV up again 3811 001 etc, and if your unlucky you'll have to redev.

The copy counter is set to count developments instead of prints. Set SP5-045 (Accounting Counter) to 1 in Special SSP, and the machine will display prints instead of developments.

but why the mashin didnot accept the new toner

is there tow type for toner for this product (american and eurepe) is that true?or is ther way restart the mashine to accept the toner ?

not : the toner is orginal and it have the logo for ricoh (D081-D082)

I can't remember exactly why it does it, think Ricoh claimed it was to do with poorly set up Dev. But this problem pops up way to much, for it to be a setup issue. It's just another one of this machines tricks. Get used to them...

The fact that you did a forced add toner guarantees you will need to replace the developers again. Attached are the tech bulletins that should explain the proper procedure and the reasons you had the add toner condition in the first place. It's critical that you follow the procedure EXACTLY.

*Confirm that the toner cartridges are the correct ones for this model. The MPC6000/7000, MPC6501/7501 and ProC550/700 cartridges all look identical but the "key cutouts" at the nozzle end are different between each. Confirm that you have the correct ones inserted by visually matching the cartridge to the hopper. I have had customers upgrade from the 6000 to the 6501 and still had the old type on hand, not knowing they were different.
