[Error Code] Mp5500 - sc202 but m/c was dead on arrival

Customer using m/c went bang whilst copying , jams in m/c all good quality.
No display just the green light on no fans running but main pcb and hdd have power.
Replaced main inlet fuse on psu (big pcb) as blown ( fuse101 i think )
Now it powers up in the following fashion:
Beeps with no display light (ballast board blown?) and no warm up (fuser cold) straight to sc202 polygon motor error ?

Does this indicate the laser is dead or do i have another problem ie BCU etc etc ?

Any ideas and help appreciated as m/c is down and out onsite (

I Would replace the Laser Polygon mirror Motor First and see what Happens.

First thing to do is disconnect all options, open all trays and then restart it. I've had shorted wires on the front gate solenoid from worn through insulation cause this fault.
