Ricoh MP 4500 says door open

I was just performing maintenance installing new drum unit and when I closed the doors the message stayed on the display to close door as shown but there is no
open door displayed . I opened and closed each door and watched as the display showed me that the doors were actually opening and closing . But still it displays the message to close door as shown but no door is open . What did I do to create this problem ?

I did check them and they seem to be working . The display says open door but doesnt indicate which door .

Blown 24v fuse on the power supply will give a constant door indicator.

clean front door switches very well. if it's not work out replace switches 24v dc

make sure the door magnets are in place properly

make sure the door is closing all the way . The magnets can come loose and stop the door from closing completely . Thats what was wrong with my unit .

The problem occurs once in a while. The display says door open but does indicate which door.

The door switches that sit above fuser(stoopid idea) get baked with toner and need to be replaced...used to happen all the damned time with 3500/4500 back in the day....replace them and all will be well.
