maybe need some cleaning job inside the printer .....

We have had a couple of these strip the gears on the black pcu drive. Not to difficult to replace. these pics will show you the partWP_000002.jpgWP_000004.jpg

The first is the complete assembly.
The second is the gear that fails where the shaft goes through.

do a manual force toner SP2251-1 for black pcu. If it become dark again then you know there is a problem with the toner supply motor or auger. I put my money on gears are stripped like CABLEGUY posted.
