mpc 4500 - sc code 443

hi fellow techs,
i got a machine mpc 4500 throwing out sc code 443. i tried replacing the whole transfer unit but the problem still shows sc443. Any help is greatly apporeciated...thanks in advance

Did you replace the unit with a brand new one, part number B223 6034 or one from another machine? Apparently a new transfer unit was released with added "ribs" to stop the PCU's touching the encoder board and causing this SC.

Also, from Goose Guide:

SC 443	Image transfer unit error - set transfer unit correctly
SC 443	Image transfer unit error - check CN223-1 for 5vdc sensor opertion, replace IOB if OK

It could be a defective encoder sensor or defective image transfer unit motor
