MPC 305 switching off panel tone

I have recentley intalled a MPC 305 in a small office. The problem I am experencing is trying to switch off the 'job completed succesfully' panel tone notification, which is a long continuous very annoying beep. I have attached panel tone descriptions (see item 3). I have installed a number of these machines in different locations and never had this problem, all other machines dont have this notification tone switched on. Whats more the tone only happens when printing from certain applications, and itermitentley. It is a potential deal breaker with the customer. I have gone through all the settings (several times) and feel I must be missing something. However its the fact it is only beeping when some jobs are completed that is puzzleing. Its also the only machine of this thype we have that is doing this.

I hope this thread makes sense, as I couldn't get my point across to the guy on the Ricoh help desk. He couldn't get his head around the fact the machine gives a notification when some print jobs are completed and not when others are completed (that makes two of us). Basically I dont whant the machine to beep, and yes I have switched panel tone to OFF.

    Any ideas? Help !

Any chance you can let us know which applications the beep happens with?
Also, that kind of sounds like a print function message beep (mismatched paper sizes, empty paper drawer, etc). Have you ever seen any messages on the touchscreen of the machine when it is beeping, especially when it is showing the print function screen?

check in <SYSTEM SETTINGS>, <GENERAL FEATURES> , <PANEL KEY SOUND > = off. I am not sure if that's the correct way but from looking at the operating manuals. that's how you do it.
