[Misc] big sound in tandem tray aficio650

[vargue]

when i open machine aficio650 lift motor still left until top then make big noise there no paper in tray. i cleaned lower sensor with pawl and upper sensor and lower sensor(home position). this machine recently install this motor .help please???/ .may be motor will be not convenient .

If I understand correctly, sounds like there might be a scrap of paper in the connector between the drawer and the mainframe. Also see if the feeler for the paper out sensor actually falls through the slot of the lift plate when paper runs out.
That is a pretty awful noise the machine makes when it tries to feed with no paper present.
An off the wall thing that might help - if you can do this, remove the plastic hook that causes both sides of the tandem tray to be pulled out in unison. The tandem tray works a lot better if people only load paper in the left hand tray. At least for us it does.

thanks for replay but in 650 tray is not divided as aficio550 .there is solid divider that's only. still lift up up up then make big sound .i guess that motor can't sense that it's in top.thus it's still up

check the lift cable and sensors behind the front cover of the tandem tray

i checked lift wire and i cleaned top sensor and bottom sensor there is sensor with pawl in bottom i cleaned but can this sensor cause this broblem

hi,

Take out the 1st feed station and you gonna find out good amount of developer in feed station, jammed salonides, give it a good clean,lubricate the bushings or you can change it with 2nd Feed station,or you can check it with 5804 ,first feed'' Pickup salonied ''out put check.
