Scan to Public folder Ricoh 6501

Hi All,

I have a Ricoh MP 6501, and I'd love to get some help with Scan to Folder. I can easily scan to shared folders on user's computers. When I try and specify a network path to our public drive, it's a not go. I can "browse" to the IP address, but no folders after the IP. Specifying the server name doesn't work either.

I'm using a service account that was created for authentication. It has permissions to access the public drive, and the folder I need to scan to.

First of all, you can provide us what kind of Operating System you're trying to scan to a folder. Secondly, user authentication is required to gain access to any folders on the computer after the release of WINDOWS 2K. Lastly, the folder must be shared with full permissions in order for it to work.

There are many variables in your issue, please provide more info so i can determine the cause of it.
