Ricoh MP6500-Copy is removed from the paper

    Hi,

I have an interesting problem, copy is removed from the paper. I doubted at first the problem is in the fusing unit and I'm a completely changed fusing unit and problem is same. Such that the low temperature of fusing unit, but temp is ok cent thermistor 198C, end thermistor 196C.
If anyone had a similar problem?

" I don't understand the words coming out your mouth. " quote from Rush Hour Movie. Are you getting blank pages when making a print or copy? Or the image is rubbing off the copied images? please elaborate your problem.

Change the paper type to thick or middle thick it will give you the clear idea,if it helps then ,

1:female fusing connector at the rear end of machine .check, clean or replace
                2:Low voltage/Line filter

Re: Ricoh MP6500-Copy is removed from the paper

Happens with for use hot roller and for use toner...I had a problem on MP5500 like that.
Some times it happens that after replacing bad hot roller with some for use crap it giver SC 542...it's made out of some wierd materials and temp given by lamps isn't tranfered on hot roller propper...it's rare but happens.
For use toner is allso made out of some wierd materials and with given drive speed and temp in fusing assembly,it isn't melted on papper propper.
So I asume your copies are smudged...repeating the imprint in the lenght coresponding with hot roller diametar.
If you try printing doublesised, toner will end up on pressure roller allso...run few pappers thru it and then open front cower, while it's still hot drive out fusing assembly and feed it with few clean pappers turning the blue wheel...there will be some toner smudges from pressure rollers.
Gears, springs, clutches, sliders, connectors and electronics...who on earth can tell what's wrong with it?

I hope the customer is using a genuine Ricoh Toner.
Second, I will replace all the OZONE filters - front and rear. Especially, the one that behind the unit. Sometimes there is not even air ventilation it can cause this type of rubbed off. I am assuming that you're using Ricoh genuine hot roller (AE011117) and pressure roller (AE020182). Third, check the fusing tension springs (AA06 0946) still intact and not out of position. Other than this, I've never seen a PSU that causes this type of problem in my 5 years experience with Ricoh.

The number one cause of this problem in my experience has been non-oem toner. If that is what the customer is running the first order of business should be to tell them to throw that sh*t away and buy the good stuff. Secondly has this machine had oem fuser rollers fitted? I have had issues with fuser related sc codes that were attributed to the PSU but never had issues with poor fusing in absence of any other errors.

Ricoh do have some stinkers in their b/w range with chronic cq problems even with oem parts and consumables (ahem MP5000). But this engine is a good proven design that I've found if maintained well, usually runs pretty much pm to pm.

Sounds like toner problem. Replace developer and if the problem
Immediately disappears shut down machine and remove all toner from hopper and replace With correct
                            oem toner!

                              Hello,

I had that problem in a Aficio 2045 toner take off the paper, seems to be problems with Fuser Unit, toner or power supply, but it is not ....

The solution was to change the Revelator and worked very well
