I have an ricoh 2045e. I am trying to set it to scan to a folder. I am using windows 8. I can use the printer. When try the connection test, the error reads connection with pc has failed. Can any provide with the correct setting?

You'll never get this machine to scan to folder using Windows 8, SMB isn't supported. Scan to email is the only thing you can do now.It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

If you use the search box at the top right and put in scan to email, you'll find loads.It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.
