    [Error Code] Lanier LD-151 code 550, new web lasts only two days!

    Hello,
    I replaced a dead web motor on a Lanier LD-151 (B-163), after two days the machine threw code 550 even though the web was new when I was replacing the motor. I checked the web and it was empty. I installed a new web, reset the sp-1902-001 to 0 and after two days the web was gone again and sc-550 was back. Checked all the settings for web motor control:

    1902-001 is set to 0
    1902-002 is set to 21
    1902-003 is set to 20
    1902-003 is set to 80
    1902-004 is set to 12

    Please help!

      You mean that the web is all used up in 2 days? So the web is all dirty from beginning to end? Maybe upgrading the firmware is an option.

          The web is used up, but it is not dirty... Maybe because it goes too fast....
          Do you know where I can download the latest firmware ?

              Are you sure you replaced the web correctly. It's very easy to replace it the wrong way. For firmware you'll need an account on My-Ricoh.

                  I am pretty sure I replaced it correctly, because I run the motor for a few minutes from SP and opened the cover to check that the empty roller is the one that is winding and collecting the web.

                      Check for pinched wires on web motor (runs all the time). Check the 1 way gears on web unit, one or more may be in backwards. If you can't remember which way they go you'll have to compare to another unit.
                      Testing 1-2-3, testing, testing. Is this thing on?

                          B140 4093 Cleaning Unit:Hot Roller:Ass'y (B140 Series)

                          I would replace a new one since the machine probably has 1+ million copy on it. Also, I put 1 in SP1902-1 after replace the web.

                              kyrenecopy, the problem was a pinched web motor wire that was grounding.
