    [Error Code] MP6001/MP7502....SC-555

We've run into an amazing rash of SC-555 fuser codes in the last month. Problem seems to appear only first thing in the morning. Thermistors and thermostats check fine. Once the code is reset, the machine runs like a champ for the balance of the day. The next morning, we're back at square one with the code! TSB 20 has been done and rear brackets have been removed. I understand this may be under investigation by RICOH. Any thoughts or fixes? Getting really frustrated.....thanks!

    You Removed the rear bracket?
If the room is too cold it will trigger the SC because it takes a second or two longer to reach a set temp.
Make sure all the lamps are good.
Ask the operator to turn the machine on in the am for just 4-5 seconds then off. Then turn on again. This will prewarm the roller. If it solves the problem the the answer is to keep the room a little warmer during the night.

Leaving the machine plugged in and switched on at the plug may help as long as you plug in the Tray heaters into the PSU that are unplugged as default.

Thats a good idea. Or you could turn off "auto-off" and turn on energy save, the temp will go down but not off.
