    Scanning ftp from a MC5000

Hi all I am trying to get a C5000 to scan using ftp but having trouble getting it to send. I have setup the ftp connection using anonymous (user) and port 21. When done I tried the connect button and the connection was successful but when I send a document all it does is processing in the lower left corner. If anyone can help I would appreciate it.

    Thanks in advanced

Needs a password on FTP server.
Why do they call it common sense?

If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?

The FTP server I am using is ftp utility by minolta and it has been working with another minolta copier. I am not sure if it will work with the ricoh copier or not, also if you use the user as anonymous thought you did not need a password.

          Ricoh FTP requires a password.
Never tried it with another brands software.
Why not install Windows FTP with user name and password.
Minolta FTP may not allow other brands to communicate.

I like Filezilla FTP server. Never had an issue, and I've never bothered to use a password
