Re: Ricoh 2510 factory reset
In user tools or SP modes? What are you trying to accomplish by resetting them? It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

5801-11 will clear all the nw setting back to default. DO NOT do a clear-all. You will be kicking your own ass.sigpic

Before doing any kind of all clear try changing memory usage from "frame priority" to "font priority". If that doesn't cure your problem take out the HDD and do a full format using a hard drive caddy (the SP format sometimes just says "failed" even with a salvageable drive) and bear in mind you will lose the address book, any stored hold or locked prints and anything in the doc server.
A memory clear is an absolute last resort, make sure you print the non-default 5990-06 or check the birth certificate is still with the machine as you are going to have to re input all of that back into the machine.Comment

Re: Ricoh 2510 factory reset
Go into user tools and select each of the options (system, printer, fax, scanner) whilst holding down the hash (#) key. This will reset the user-alterable settings.
I'd only do an engine clear if absolutely necessary and, by the sound of things, this is going to achieve nothing but cause more problems.Comment
