Hi i just want to ask for your help about the paper jamming on a mpc 2550. When we remove the finisher there will be no problem, but when we put the finisher the paper will jam before the exit roller, the finisher is tested good on other machine. The exit assy was already replaced with a whole assy. Thank you for your help.

Re: mpc 2550
If you remove the finisher, without removing anything else, on an MPC2550 it should jam as the exit for a machine without a finisher is covered. The exit junction gate is in the wrong position and diverting the paper to the wrong exit. The exit junction gate should be in a fixed position when a finisher is present, it should not moveThere are 10 types of people in this world, those who understand binary maths and those who don'tComment

Re: mpc 2550
When the finisher is installed then the lower of the 2 exits should be covered, only the upper exit is in use. When the finisher is removed, the lower exit should still be coveredThere are 10 types of people in this world, those who understand binary maths and those who don'tComment

Re: mpc 2550
make sure that the internal finisher and the inverter unit is connected properly. if the machine doesn't detect the inverter unit the paper will only reach the exit roller and will not go out from it. the jam code will be 20.Nobody is perfect..Comment
