MP 3045 folding papper on registration roller

Having troubles with MP 3045
It's folding papper on regitration roller,makes papper run folded over drum.It used to be ewery 50'th or 100'th papper.
I cleaned registration clutch and it was better for about 2 or 3 k copies,then I replaced the clutch and it was ok for another 2k copies...now it's ewen worse,it folds ewery 20'th papper and draws more than one papper from tray.
I'll deal more with machine tomorow,just looking for some opinions,meybe I fail to think of something.
I'm leaning towards re checking Pick up assembly,thanks for ideas.

check traction unit clutches .clean very well .detect that relay clutch is very good assembled.and make reset to soft ware.

Looks like you're having more than one problem. If the rollers are OK, then it could be a bad feed clutch. Are all paper sensors OK? Does multi-feeding occur with all paper trays?

Oh, and by the way... NEVER reset the machine for this kind of trouble! Doing a memory clear NEVER resolves paper feed problems.

Doing a engine clear NEVER solves anything EVER. Just makes fixing the machine even more difficult.

Only thing that "Killing machine" solved for me was clean pappers printed...a software issue,other than that awoid it at all costs!(even then my hands were shaky)
Tnx for input Eric1968...I'll look in to sensors again,and multi-feeding is reported to me by customer,machine is brought to service...I'll look in to it tomorow (my bet is sepparation roller simply worn out)

I had this same issue a few weeks ago. I ended up replacing the transport clutch for tray 1 and 2 and that solved the issue. The transport clutch was over driving and folding the paper at the registration roller.

X2 for vertical Transport clutch,also make sure paper feed clutches and Rollers are clean!

Well a fine mess I made in about 30 min...I was time limited,and in a rush I made it even worse.
I assembled 2 diferent clutches mixing there parts...
My thoughts were on transport clutch as MitchD mentioned yet I made some mistake in assembling so...machine is waiting for me in service tomorow (I bet she is laughing at me).
Thanks for ideas guys...will come back with more info on issue.

It was transport clutch,cleaning it was enough to solve problem...I guess sometimes one has to be more detailed when working.
