    [Misc] Ricoh MP7000 weak copies

    goodnight.
    I need help I have a ricoh mp7000 copies that takes clear and weak, y already change developer, charge corona wire, drum, transfer belt and no help. when y change the drumr the copies stay's good (dark enough) but for only 40.000 copies and after this copies the machine stays with the copies weak again.

    Any ideias?

    Depending on how this machine is used, you might want to tweak the toner feed adjustment in SP mode. If the actual usage is significantly lower than the machine's specs anyway.

        I already adjust the supply tonr mode (default= 850) for 650 but tat not successful.
        Any ideia?

        (i have service manual :P)

          When you run the machine with the front door cheated does the bottle turn?
          It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

            no, the bottle not rotate , and i have done 30 A3 copies in sold black!

                check out vsg /and vsp/ vsdp/vref what's reading on machine

                  thanks for everybody y solve the problem. I clean every contact in the machine and drum and the unit develop and the copies stays black solid again.

                    check toner supply unit for missing mylars. especially the classification unit. I had one the other day the gear was cracked behind the toner supply assembly.

                      If you ever see this machine again, you might want to check the drum ground with a meter. The conductive grease in the drum shaft bearing used to fail occasionally back in the day, causing the drum ground to not work resulting in annoying reoccurring print quality problems.

                        so how many ohms would it be if the drum ground is good?

                          It should be as close to zero ohms as possible. Intermittently one or two ohms might be OK, but not much more than that.
