As MrWho said you can look at the old harness and know what to change on the new fusing harness. I use this mod on a weekly basis and that's a lot easier than keeping track of paperwork.Comment

Thats the problem, the old fuser is one that was modified as described here and the tech moded the replacement the same way but the result is that the new one is erroring out with install correct fuser. I thought maybe Ricoh had changed the printer fuser somehow. I'l have to wait until the tech brings the fuser in and inspect the harness for myself.

So I pulled another 820 fuser out of stock and the plug looks just like this, so either this one was already moded or I am misunderstanding what I wrote back then. And thanks Horo for the link.
