    SPC420dn printing weird.

    Hello all.

I seek the advice of more knowledgable techs out there. I have this SPC420dn printing some messed up stuff. I have included what the printout of the config page looks like first page, back of first page, and the second page. Now the images here are not happening all the time its randomly throwing this junk out. I will note you probably cant see it but the normal pages the text is slightly blurred its readable but at a close look you can see its not crisp text. Also I have a slight fade on the left side of the page (right side of machine). I have already replaced the xfer belt, the black pcu, and cleaned the laser shields under the shutter. Also at one point the magenta was not aligned it was way off by like an inch from where the text should have been.

I am thinking this is a voltage or electrical problem. But I also noticed an SC443 ITB motor issue, and an SC230 not sure what that is. If you have any ideas by looking at the images I would love to hear them. Thanks

have you performed line position adjusment? first check the connections and contacts.

      FGATE: On error [K]
      230 [C]
The PFGATE ON signal does not assert within 5 seconds after processing the image in normal job or MUSIC for [K] starts.
      3. Replace the EGB.

Have you tried to check all of the connectors etc. Looks like there is a connection (grounding plate etc) problem. Considering amount of printouts I would make a guess you have replaced Transfer unit + PCUs + development units, developers etc.

I had checked connections but have not replaced either yet. My boss is never happy when I tell him I need A B or C but not really sure which one will be the right one. I love errors that relate to 3-5 different items being the problem when it comes to electrical components.

I was hoping someone else here may be able to steer me in a closer direction or have run across this. Otherwise I am probably stuck throwing parts at it randomly.
