      Printing from Windows or Mac?

      If Windows: Go to Control Panel -> Devices and Printer / Printers and Faxes (depending on your version of Windows) -> Right-click, Printer Properties (or just Properties on Windows XP) -> Advanced -> Printing Defaults, set the default here, then return to Devices and right-click, Printing Preferences, do the same here.

      If Mac: Open Safari or other browser, navigate to localhost:631 -> Administration -> Manage Printers -> Select the printer -> Dropdown box marked "Administration", select Set Default Options, set the defaults here.


      The newer PCL6 drivers, and possibly PS as well, do not save default settings well (if at all, I stay clear of these versions entirely).

          Thx....I just didn't know if there was a setting in the print set up to keep this frome happening. Changing each print driver is kind of a pain.
