    MPC3002-5502 offset problem

    Hi,

Our field personnel have had few offset problems with mpc3002-5502 models. Normally this have been fixed by changing FC/BW itb- bias from 22--->11 microamps and in couple cases we have even risen the temperature setting for plain, into max values(200 and 180 degrees, normal and slow speeds). For some reason, when using booklet binding, these settings don't seem to work at all and the offset stays no matter what parameter is changed. Would someone happen to have similar kinda problem with these models?

    Re: MPC3002-5502 offset problem

Problem was solved by changing couple extra temperature settings. As a summary: Plain1/2 temperatures were rised on thick1 level, also standby temperatures were changed. With middle thick setting first 3 booklets were fine, but after that the problem came again. When using thick1 temperatures everything came fine. Let's just see how long does the fusing last with these settings

There are two tech bulletins on this: RD144059 and RD144057.
