Savin 9040 missing fuser cleaning web

Apparently the old saying when it rains... still holds true.

Client is adamant that his Savin 9040 needs a 320K pm kit and his tech wants to install the parts himself! (Please don't ask.) He sends us the info to purchase the 320K kit for a Ricoh MP-4500.

Two days after receipt of the kit we get a call stating that his machine is missing parts as there is a fuser cleaning web in the kit but there is no way to install into his machine as all the gears, etc are missing.

We are only familiar with the Ricoh model. Does the Savin 9040 not require the cleaning web?

I've not had any real experience on this particular model, but i knew that I had seen lots of threads on the Ricoh version of this machine relating to the fuser web on these.
Yes, it seems that many people just leave them off, because they're apparently troublesome, or there is also a mod that is available too.
Here's a link to one of the threads:

The MP4500 (Adonis) doesn't have a cleaning web, the MP4000 and MP5000 (Alex) do
