Preamble information:
Printer is Ricoh Aficio 2045e
Server is Windows 2008 in a domain (only domain controller)
5 clients that are all Windows 7
I've already ruled out trying to use SMB because I need a firmware update on the printer, which I can't do (I'm nowhere near qualified as a copier tech) nor want to fuss with. So, I'm trying out scan to FTP.
I have the address book setup with two test users. I have a shared folder on the server with everyone full permissions so anyone on the network can get to this folder.
On a hunch, I checked out my GPO for the domain (since this would override any local security changes I make). Went into my Group Policy Mgt, opened up my Default Domain Control Policy, went to computer configuration --> Policies --> Windows Settings --> Security Settings --> Local Policies --> Security Options, and I opened the Network security: LAN Manager authentication level. Changed it from Send NTLMv2 response only to.. Send LM & NTLM - use NTLMv2 session security if negotiated.
I'm using Filezilla. No firewalls enabled. I have the AV software disabled (and tried w/it uninstalled).
Here's my Filezilla output when I try to scan to FTP:
It connects, the disconnects. I don't understand. Anyone have any suggestions? If I FTP in from my computer in the office - works fine. I can up/download files all I want.
Thanks in advance for your reply.
