Things like telephone cable, telephone line etc. Looks like it's a bad fax line.

Print out the journal to verify there was no error receiving.

Have someone else fax you something.

if it shows fax received on copier. Could be Two things paper problem or copier was setup to send to a computer and lost it path.

May be the reception fax "forward" was changed or the parameters characteristics the bit 7 will need active.

could also be set to store instead of print in fax features might want to check that
