    Hi,
The fuse, for the oil supply of the 2238c Ricoh. Where can I buy them? Or compatibles or does anyone know the part # I have a parts catalogue but it does not supply the fuse only the complete unit. part #B116 4280.
    Thanks.

No need give a part number for it: the oiler is a consumable item. A part number for the fuse would be like a part number for the viking hat in the toner bottles.

Yes, IC..is there a way to make the "oil alert page " to have a value higher than 27.5. Say 90.0 that would be better. I use sp7-905-014.
There has to be a way to beat the system.

Please, please tell me you didn't. Did you re-input the non-default data? If not you're going to be looking at false toner end detection, process control SC's, wrecked developers and PCU's. A memory clear is NOT the way to skimp on fitting parts!!!!
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

            Hit it.

Yep I dids that alright, n she works like a dream. (had to adjust the colour) Thank God I buy theses machines for $5 humm. Still I know when the developers and toners run out, the oil I keep up every 20k all (oil) is well.
                  OR..
do u think I should lash out and buy another 2 machines.. humm $10.. nahhh..
Personally I think these are great machines. I have 5 e-studios and never use them, I have a few of theses in pieces. and love them as mass printers. One is a bottler.. a $5 wonder of modern science.

www.precisionroller.com. You can anything from those guys. How did you do a memory clear and have the registration stay put? Memory clear is the LAST thing you want to do and it takes a tech that knows his craft to dial it back in.

I've been using the service manual for 8 months now. Its all fairly straight forward, Though I did have to dismantle one machine to get the idea better.
Still the facts remain, there are ways to get around the system of BUY,BUY,BUY the consumables at terrorist prices.
Personally all I want is a mass printer cheap. The companies want consumers to endlessly pay for there prints.
......It works for me thats all I care about, I printed 70,000 colour last year for a cost under $1600, including paper, machine's and toner...
And yes I had to re-adjust the colour after the CLEAR...
                      Thanks for your help.
