    Hi

Take a look at the VSG VSP readings I guess they are not what they should be, if they are not check out the charge connections all the way throught the pcu, you will probally find the one at the rear is giving poor continuity....

    Cheers

At 60k you'll probably find the mag roller is coated in toner making the developer fail. You'll probably find lots of SC304's in the SMC printoffs too. Either that or the mylar paddles in the toner hopper have detached, but I'd more likely bet on the dev.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

      Hit it.

Hi guys, new here, good to be amongst you, hope I can contribute with my meagre experience. Re the above problem, I have to second what TonerMunkeh stated. Dev roller probably black instead of silver, if so clean it thouroghly and carefully, and it may go a few K's until needing cleaning again. I believe those models have the same toner problem as the MP4000 series. There may be a revised coated dev roller available as they did for the MP4000 that suffered from the same problem.

There are numerous posts on this site regarding this issue. I picked up a tip on here that helps alot: set the mag roller/mylar gap to a thighht .35 and it will run a ton cleaner.
