If I understand this correctly, you either are using the wrong print driver, or you made a mistake when installing the driver.

Print off a config page and see what languages are installed on the machine. I had one that lost pcl and it needed re installing onto the machine. Fortunately the machine in question had p/s and would work with a p/s driver just not pcl which made it easier to find the cause.

What OS are you using? (Including bit) Also, crossover connect to the copier and try printing direct. If youi can, then it is a network issue, most likely a duplicate IP or damaged network port. If you can't, then the machine NIC may have an issue and need replacing.

Make sure SNMP is ticked under the Ports tab TCPIP settings on the PC.
If it's ticked, try unchecking it.

If it's not something like this I would also check sp 5985 and make sure the nic is set to 1 and not 2 or 0.

Its worth checking the Raw Settings Port number is correct, usually 9100. Printer Properties>Ports>Configure Port.

To see the port the copier is using print a network settings page, System Settings>Interface Settings>Print List
On the first page under "Diprint Port" you will see the port the copier uses.

I've had it where this port number is incorrect and you can still access web interface and ping etc but no print.
