    MPC 7501 Jam 66

    Hi guys,

I have a machine in our workshop that when the paper is leaving the fuser and into the decurler rollers the paper seems to either cause a lag jam or do an accordion.

When rotating the fuser manually with a piece of paper going through it, the paper seems to be slower when going through the decurlers causing the paper to bunch up .

Prior to this i was getting paper getting caught at the reg roller (what a dog machine these can be)

Any suggestions from the lucky ones who have spent many hours on these beasts??

Had an exit sensor fix mine with 066 jam codes, although you don't mention the total meter - so i assume the fuser has been rebuilt, and the pressure roller isn't swelled up, bearings seized, or any common stuff. Good luck

Sorted the issue. One of the workshop guys had put a gear on the wrong way around! One side of the gear was for a toothed belt and wss driving a helical gear. Thanks for the replies.
