ricoh 2575 error

    ricoh 2575 error

    sorry for sounding like an amateur well i am but its a savin 2575 and the error it has says that the out tray is full and says to empty it there is no finisher on the machine nor is there any paper jams cant see any trays or drawers that have enough paper in them to call it full any ideas of what this could be.

    I don't know what model this is off the top of my head.

    But there is normally a sensor arm on most models that hangs over the internal output tray in the middle.

    Check that.

      This is a ricoh 1075 and as it has no finisher, it should have an hng on tray. And the tray comes with an actuator that hangs over the tray to indicate when it is full. The copies comes with the photocell already installed. Pull the right panel and you will see it in the center. If there is no actuator, maybe the sensor is dirty. You can check it with input checks

        ok heres another dumb ? where is the internal out put tray. is it the one on the right side of the machine above the lct

          It is the absent one on the left side, to keep you from picking up the "output" off the floor,
          The one on the right over the LCT is for the ADF.
