You've got two options, really:

a) Follow the service manual (if you don't have it, you can ask for it if you feel lucky or buy it online - it's well worth the price)

b) Look at the transfer belt unit carefully and find out how to remove the belt and replace it with the new one. It's not that complicated, but there's always the risk of disassembling more than what you need or even damaging something if you're not careful.
