Aficio 1055 with sc300...can aficio 551or 700 drum assembly be swapped for 1055?

Can I use a 551/700 drum assembly or corona assembly in an aficio 1055 that is giving me sc300? A friend of mine said he thought he did that once and got an sc301 on a good 700 drum assembly when he put it in an aficio 1055. Please advise. Your help is very much appreciated. Frank/ActionPhotocopy

the charge corona assembly of 551 can be use on aficio 1055 that caused the SC300.

Thank you ccchuah. I understand that the corona wire is different in the 1055 from the 551/700 according to parts manual. Frank

The corona unit is the same even though it says the wire is a different part number, we use #AD020053 (wire) in both models, the entire PCU is different

Replaced corona un it and machine is okay. Thank you for the advice. Frank
