[Misc] mpc2500 - noisy fusing unit

    Hi

I have a mpc2500 and there is a lot of clicking and kind of knocking sounds coming from the fuser. Just can't quite pinpoint the part of the fuser causing it, gears look okay etc has anyone ever seen this before?

You need to grease them up with High heat grease when rebuilding them. Smear some grease where the bearings go and all will be tranquil again....

Yeah, your bearings on the pressure roller, heat roller and hot roller are all shot, replace them

        Hi there!
I agree that the bearings are shot. But when the bearings are gone, belt, rollers etc... are also gone. Best way to change the fusing-maintanance parts.
        Greetings...

There is also a gear that can cause noise as well part number is AB01 3722, we usually replace the gear along with all the bearing when we rebuild the fuser
