already done with 120k kit ..only the housing haven't change...and still there's raindrops of toner

The toner recycling section of the PCU is either blocked or Broken strip it down and vac it out like you should have done when doing the PM service and check the seal under the cleaning blade for being bent or broken.

Kind of looks like a bad charge roller, but try out Bantams advice first, and let us know what you find.

Oh that is bad ! Toner droplets is a bit of an understatment, deluge is more like it.

Easy, perform 120k Maintenance.

Those PCUs should serviced at around 60K, even less if you are feeding A4R, which your sample seems to be. Simple question, have you changed , Drum (and dusted it with powder), Cleaning blade, charge roller, cleaning roller, developer (type 19 !!!!) in that PCU ??? Did you remember to re-fit the little connector gear at the rear ? If yes, and you are getting that copy then something is still seriously amiss. A. either as someone else suggested, check the recycling coil behind the cleaning blade is actually working and not broken or jammed, B. check the 5 small gears are all not worn and are circulating the developer properly.

Oh, and this may sound silly, but check that you actually screwed down the cleaning blade. If the entire cleaning blade was missing the copy would be better than that.

This is 90% toner problem because a damaged cleaning blade and seal would not be like this.

There are not 'many kinds of toner for this machine' , each machine has its own toner, and most similar machines have slight differences to the bottle to stop people putting in the wrong toner. Besides, it will say on the bottle for "Aficio 1018" and I think most techs should be able to read that. Let him answer the questions I posted earlier.

There are not 'many kinds of toner for this machine' , each machine has its own toner, and most similar machines have slight differences to the bottle to stop people putting in the wrong toner. Besides, it will say on the bottle for "Aficio 1018" and I think most techs should be able to read that. Let him answer the questions I posted earlier.

sure each machines have slight differences to the bottle,name should be there like for af 1018 ,but with original and duplicate toner color of toner bottle has slight difference and if u will use dup. machine will becomes overtone

These drums never really come out all that well.

The manual for the 2018 and up recommended after a PCU rebuild to tab the top of the unit lightly with a screw driver evenly over four areas. Then after placing in the machine and running the developer initialisation running about 20 skyshots on A3/DLT paper.

Try that and then see if you still have issues.

You may also want to try coating the edge of the cleaning blade with a little brand new toner to work as a lubricant to keep the blade from scratching the surface of the drum.

rhe, I am assuming by duplicate toner you are referring to COMPATIBLE toner. This should not really have any adverse effect on the copy, and most people cannot tell the difference. However, there is NO WAY, even with compatible toner that it would produce a copy such as the seriously messed up example shown by the original poster. That is not a compatible toner problem.

rthonpm, 20 A3 skyshots ? Surely you mean 2 A3 skyshots, max.
