    [Jamming] mpc 6000 DF jams.

    Gents.

Have a couple of mpc 6000's having DF problems, normally easy to sort out. But on this occassion df table lifts but then does not feed. Sensors and motor checks appear fine. one way bearings have been fitted to feed in section. On doing ageing test machine will run away fine for ages. but when goes back to copying oocasionaly does this strange jammong thing again. Any ideas mosty appreciated.

Well, start off by checking the sensors in input check mode. Also, does it even try to pick up?

      Thanks for reply Llama god.

I/O checks have been done and sensors all work fine, as do motors. and in ageing tests hundreds of sheets are fed without any jams whatsoever. Fault is intermittent, and when the start button is pressed, the document table lifts and the nothing, no attempt to feed. Then if jam is cleared it will work away fine agin for a while, with no pattern to it. It may be a board or harness related fault, but as I say was curious to know if anyone else had seen this same fault. Usually as you will know DF jams are usually pretty easy to sort out, but this one is annoying us

      Cheers

There is a modified wiring harness for the df table to cure this problem
