    MPC3300 missing Yellow

    Had MPC3300 at a customers today that was not laying any Yellow toner onto the prints. I was fortuanate that the customer had a few of this model on site to swap parts and i found the bias wire for the Yellow itb transfer roller had corroded and snapped. Just thought i would pass this on as it might save someone spending on a complete itb assy. I have enclosed pics and have pulled the wire further away for clear pictures but initially it did not look to be a broken wire until i pushed it with my finger.

          Thankyou. It was the 2nd one in the past week i have had but sadly i did not spot it last time and fitted a new ITB assy to the machine. Was determined to find the cause today though and save both money and an rtf.

                  I've had this happen a couple of times now on this range of machines and it ALWAYS seems to be yellow.

                                  Did you manage to get a part number for the broken Harness?

                                  I have one the same (yellow) but cant find the part number anywhere in any of the MPC range parts manuals

                                      The itb is a unit except belt and cleaning unit, i just re-routed the wire to give a little slack and striped the end of the wire back and fastened it under the screw. worked a treat for me

                                              That's great info, another member of my team had that fault last week (on yellow), he changed the ITB assy, I'll let people know about it. Cheers
