I inherited a Ricoh AP400 network printer. It is working correctly but I need to enable SNMP so my new inventory software can correctly scan it. Unfortunately no one knows the administrator password. Is there a way to reset the administrator password without reset all the settings? Also, what could the default password be? I downloaded the manual from Ricoh's website and I did not see an answer.

Re: Ricoh Aficio AP400 - How to reset password for the administrator mode on the webp
if you enter the IP address in a web browser, you can go to the Web Image Monitor- I believe it's called - and try to log in as admin.
user name: admin
password: (blank, nothing..don't enter anything)
you can do the same for supervisor. In the Supervisor mode you can change administrator passwords...user name- supervisor password- "blank" again.Comment

If they don"t work, search google or CTN for Ricoh password hack.
