Can a Ricoh Aficio 1035 scan to a .pdf file? If not, what next version of a Ricoh copier can scan to a .pdf file? Thank you for any help given.

This machine can scan-to-folder (pdf), but you might need a firmware upgrade to scan to the recent operating systems. And you'll need Scan Router Software (which is not supported for years).

Outdated, obsolete, long un-supported.
The equivalent version beyond that, that can scan to folder without software, is a 2035E, but I would recommend going with something less than 10 years old - maybe an Aficio MP3500?? Keep in mind that anything like this will likely require a firmware update if your looking to scan to Win 7, Server 2008, etc., or newer. Otherwise Scan to FTP is always an option.
