    MP C400SR SC 241

    Hi, Guys. I have a M026 with a SC 241. I am getting ready to order an LD unit, but I discovered I don't have a parts list. Can someone tell what the LD unit part number is?

    If anyone has seen this failure before, can you tell me what fixed your machine? Looks like a few things could cause this code.

      Best I can tell, M0261855 is most likely the part number for the laser unit, but it wouldn't hurt to ask for that in the Parts Room or see if someone else pipes in just to make sure.
      I've never had to replace that laser unit, but if it has laser synch sensors like all the laser units I have seen, it might not hurt to give them a good blast of air before tossing the unit out. If time permits, anyway.

          Same number here : M026 1855

          I think the only option is to replace the unit. These SC are real nasty ones. Had these also a few times. Replacing the unit always solved it.
