I don't know if this will help, but while I've never seen the 1100, the 907 appears to be just a big LD360 (if my Lanier to Ricoh model translation table is accurate, maybe a big MP6001 or something?). For the most part, pretty reliable when used properly, and not that hard to work on. At least not yet.

These machines are great work horses, i work on them all the time, The Katana is one of the best engines Ricoh ever produced..........
and as previously said very easy to use, you will love it........

These boxes will rock ifyou treat them right. Have only a couple operators that know howto run them and don't cut corners whenserviceing them.

If you're already familiar with the Martini range of Ricoh 60 - 90cpm and the Bellini range of 90 - 110cpm Ricoh mono high volume copiers then you'll find it a breeze to work on.

The major weak point of this engine is the unbelievably daft toner supply system, the toner bank literally couldn't be further away from the dev unit and there's a proper Heath Robinson set up of a huge transport coil and attraction pump to get it where it needs to be. However this system is an improvement on the Bellini which was even more of a nightmare.

The pro907 is for all intents and purposes exactly the same machine as an MP9000, just uses the "pro" brand name Ricoh introduced for it's production print offerings.

Yeah true that, Ollie
but as u say they have really improved the Pro series they dont seem to get blocked up like the Bellini's use to,well not as offen, i think ive seen a couple on this model but due to the pump more than an actual blockage, but a rare problem.
only other thing is if it has a GBC streampunch on it those things just cant keep up with the machine speed , mostly on the Pro 1357's , GBC just dont seem to make the streampunch fast enuff so they only workaround they have given everyone is to slow the mainframe down so it keeps up ....😒
but thats not Ricoh's fault its their's.......

After a year and a half on high intensity use (2-3 million a month) on 4 Pro's and 2 MP 8000's here is what I am seeing.
1, keep the filters around the dev unit clean or suffer SC 300.
2. The duplex unit will cause "dogearring" due to the mylar covering it bubbles up- remove it if it causes problems.
3. The lower fuser roller will often split and cause dog ears.
4. Turn off the double feed detection or it will jam endlessly.
5. The SR 5000 will plague you with SC 750/726's after they age a little. Keep the tray lift motors on hand.

Summing up they do get the job done and are an improvement over the 2090 but these are the most common problems.

Yeah true that too mate,
ive found dogearing was either toner stuck on spurs or the guide plate are warped from the heat in fuser, but duplex can do it too your right, as soon as P/R gets wrinkles i throw a newy in so havnt seen it split dude, sorter motor yup carry 1 on ya, i think new model motor is bit better, we have 6 Pro's clocking over 10-15 mill and yes all machines have their little issues but overall , they are wicked machines and love working on them, very easy to service and access most PM units....
