    MP C2500 Color lines

    Hi everyone,
Came across this issue with MP C2500-Color lines all over the page when copy/print with full color mode, but was alright in B&W mode.(Please refer to attach file)
Replaced all PCU still same issue.Quite sure was not problem with optic/scanner.Could it be the Laser unit issue?Any advise is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Transfer Belt Cleaning Unit? At the top of the page you also see some black spots. If you replaced all the PCU's, the next suspect would be the Cleaning Unit.

The Cleaning Units lasts for 160k. Even if it looks ok, it can still cause lines/streaks. I'm almost 100% sure this isn't a Laser Unit problem.

Same here. Simply looking at it and it looks ok is not good enough. Also check the fuser cleaning roller and oiling roller. The cleaning roller on these tends to get really clogged up with toner and then offsets it back on copies in exactly the same way as your samples. Had it many times, need to clean it regularly and change the oiling roller.

I'm willing to bet a few bob that this one comes back. In cold weather these things can give you these lines and then disappear, especially when the PCU has a few miles on the clock. If it's around 100% replace the PCU, otherwise you be back there next week changing it anyway....
