    I have a problem with your Ricoh multifunction color mpc2051 On device is D104


    A new device was installed two weeks ago and there is no strong load on the device and the meter is still new soften the show two lines black from the top of the paper in half and disappear lines note that the two lines appear in copy and the counter and the print please help me solve the problem.

    note/ the device is new and cylinder is new

                      I wasn't even aware that I had a Ricoh multifunction device, (my wife would kill me as it would take up valuable space in the house that she needs to fill with her crap) let alone anyone having any problems with it.

                      Sarcasm aside, have you done any fault finding? If you are unsure where a line is coming from run a full colour A3/DLT copy and crash stop the machine. By checking what's on the paper at where you should be able to determine what is causing the problem. If the drum unit is new, clean the charge roller.

                              My take is that you are saying you are getting 2 lines that trail off near the center. This generally indicates dust on the mirrors. As the scanner moves, the mirrors move apart and the center of focus changes (up/down) on the face of the mirrors.
