I have a mpc 3501 which seemed to be working fine before but recently 2 things occured. First the network guys were at the place setting up some user settings on the Mac, as customer is a print shop and has special programs they are using, since then when customer prints the feed timing is super slow, its printing like they are running thick 3 paper even when everything is set to plain takes forever. Copy's come out at normal speed only printing slows it down.
Second I had removed the fuser seperation bar and installed the new fuser exit guide as a bulletin stated, I honostly see no difference in the new guide to the old one they look exactly the same.
So heres the problem when customer prints from tray one paper either dog ears or jams at fuser, usually rear side and seems to be catching the exit guide now that the seperation bar was removed, it only does this when they print because of how slow the paper is feeding i think its sticking a bit to the roller, and it only does this out of tray 1 which is plain paper, all other trays have special thickness paper. If i make a copy using that tray they come out fine as they are much faster when feeding through the fuser.
Any thoughts on this, I dont know why the timing is so slow when printing, and why they have a new fuser exit guide that looks exactly the same as the old one.
