    [Misc] installing ricoh mp171 using usb

    hi friends
    this is a little embarrassing but am having trouble installing printer features on a ricoh mp171 using usb and i need help

      Which features are you missing?
      It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

              On your original post you said you were having trouble installinf printer features. Do you mean you are having trouble installing it in the first place or it's not doing what it's supposed to be doing when you send a print job. Is it an MP171ln or spf?

                                          You're not trying to scan over USB, are you?

                                          It won't work - scanning is Ethernet only.

                                          Of course, that's just a shot in the dark on my part, seeing how you refuse to state what your real problem is...
