Not a request for help but an FYI. A couple of days ago had an MP2352 (new variant if the 2027 engine) come in for intermittent SC230 (f-gate error)
Found on Ricoh tier 2 a bulletin saying that the latest engine firmware fixes this, so after a lengthy battle with my-Ricoh, I get the latest engine, system copy, scanner, network support and pcl firmware and update it all as a job lot.
Problem was now, the customer can no longer scan to folder (server 2003). I try everything, re entering path and authentication information but nothing worked, the job would just sit there saying "waiting" in the sent file status, the only thing that got this machine scanning again for this customer was rolling back the scanner and network support firmware to the original versions.
Just letting you all know because this caused me a couple of hours of grief!!
