    MP2000 scan to folder

    Would anyone be able to help me set up scan to folder on this machine.The machine is on the network and printing but when i go to register the folder in address book management on the machine or on the web browser the folder auth. is missing from my list of options.All i am getting under folder auth. is user and function permissions.Have tried print scan module on another m/c with the same result.Wonderng if it could have something to do with administrator auth. Any help greatly apprieciated machine due out and awainting response from nrg.

    Is the SD card in the last slot, the first counting from the bottom:
    1. Turn the main switch on.
    2. Start the SP mode.
    3. Select SP5-985-001 (NIC setting) and change the setting value to "1" (ON).
    4. Select SP5-985-002 (USB setting) and change the setting value to "1" (ON).
    5. Turn the main switch off and on.
    6. Start the SP mode.
    7. Select SP5-801-001 and initialize the all SP data.
    8. Exit the SP mode, and then start the UP mode.
    9. Select the "@Remote Service" ("User Tool" > "System Settings > Administrator Tools" > "Extended
    Security" > @Remote Service") and select "Prohibit".
    10. Exit the UP mode, and then start the SP mode.
    11. Select SP5-870-003 and execute initialization for @Remote.
    12. Select SP5-907-001 and specifies the "Plug & Play".
    13. Select SP5-870-001 and execute writing certification for @Remote.
    14. Select SP5-302-002 and specify the time zone.
    15. Select SP5-307-001, 003, and 004 and specify the daylight-saving time settings.
    16. Exit the SP mode.
    17. Turn the main switch off and on.
    18. Start the UP mode.
    19. Specifies the date and time with "Set Date" or "Set Time" (User Tool" > "System Settings" > "Set Date"
    or "Set Time").

      Could you insert a smb path to scan to folder, or only scan to mail. (web image monitor)
      The thing is that both sd cards (fax and print/scan) are sometimes being swithed by installation. Then you could not see all the scanpossibility's in web image. You have to be sure that the print/scan sd card is in the lowest slot, and the fax in the second lowest. Maybe after installing it right you could be making a memory clear (5-801), what was necessary while installing print/scan on the af1018/2018 earlier, to use the scanoption.

        Follow up on MP2000 scan to Folder Problem.

        Many Thanks for your help and quick response. The solution to my problem was as follows. I reformatted the address book, using SP5-846-050 , this solved the problem.

              Anyone knows if I need to have a hard disk to have scan to folder in this machine?. Because I have the same problem.

              How I enter in UP mode?
