    [Misc] Ricoh MP9002 - Jobs get deleted when paper runs out

    Hi

    Can some one advise me regarding the below issue on Ricoh MP9002?

    We have few MP9002s with a client with Equitrac (v 4.1.2) (Java version is latest 10.12) running on them. The issue we have is whenever there is a large print/copy job running, if the mfd runs out of paper, the job gets deleted. This happens exactly after the auto logout time of the mfd. Empty paper tray alert will be on untill that time and after that it returns to PCC login screen! MFD has latest firmware, java and softwares were reinstalled few times. This happens on 3 mfds in that site.

    Any clues? Please advise...

      Check to make sure the auto continue function is turned off. If left on, after the time set the machine will delete the job in process and move onto the next one. It's primarily for preventing jobs with an odd paper size or a job trying to pull from the wrong tray from backing up the print queue.

              Equitrac can be a nightmare for this i have a lady that puts loads of jobs on then if it jams or runs out of paper before the customer can reset jam or paper it will reset all jobs i always thought its the Equitrac timeing out thats the problem please pass on if you find a fix as boy it sure makes customers angery
