Ricoh 3245C with booklet finisher - folding?

Hi guys,

I've just got a Ricoh 3245C copier with booklet finisher which I'm very pleased with - a bargain price on ebay

However, when producing A5 booklets (A4 folded), the fold is about 3mm off the centre!
The staples are centred correctly, but the fold isn't.

I can't see any way to adjust the folding mechanism, and although I've found the technical service manual pdf, it doesn't mention adjusting the position of the fold

Is there something I'm missing? I've had all the doors open on the finisher and the stapler bar pulled out, but I can't see any adjustments!

No way that I have ever seen. You may want to check the gear timing, someone could have taken it apart.

Thanks guys - nos sent me a message with the answer (thanks ).

Turns out it's adjusted in the service program, section 6 (peripherals).

I'm a dinosaur - I was expecting a manual adjustment, not a software programmable setting
