    Mp 2500

I am working on a MP2550. when the paper leaves the tray it jams. none of the rollers are turning, paper never gets to registration roller. I have replaced the BCU board and registration clutch as instructed by tech services.. Checked the sensors to see if they detect paper. Any help would be GREAT..

Is this just from tray 1 or does it do it from tray 2 as well? It's hardly going to be a reg clutch if the paper hasn't got as far as that.

Does the paper move at all?

the paper comes out of tray and jams at the turn, never getting high enough to the registration. Also I marked all the rollers and none are moving to bring the paper upwards

Sorry, you marked which rollers? The feed roller? The reg roller? Does it do the same thing from all of the trays? Are the tray sizes set correctly? What jam codes are you getting?

As we're not in front of the machine, it'd be helpful to provide more information.

            Right!.
and P.S.....what's the actual model of the machine, mp2500 as stated in the title, or MP2550 as in the text? I find that info can be helpful to know when one can't see the machine too.
Plus, what jam codes does the machine log?

I asked that already, but it's nice to know that I'm not alone in this impossible quest.

Oops. right you are Chris! Although, that proves that I'm sharper with a beer (or 2) in me. There's the excuse I was looking for!

Since it feeds part way out of the tray, but he says it does not make it to the reg roller, I am assuming he marked the relay rollers (shrug).
Sooo....... my bet is on the relay clutch. And since you're in there, change the feed clutch too.

Dust on the paper tray exit sensor.

He probably works for Ricoh, they're obsessed with replacing BICU and controller boards.
